1ST EDITION OF THE WOMEN LOOKING AT WOMEN AWARDS

💜 The Mujeres Mirando Mujeres (MMM) platform is launching the first edition of its awards to celebrate a decade of tireless work raising awareness of art from a feminist, inclusive, and transformative perspective. Since 2015, MMM has given a voice to more than 600 professionals in the art world through digital publications, exhibitions, conferences, a femzine, a podcast, and, soon, an open and growing directory.

🎨 This campaign seeks to fund the creation and presentation of the MMM Awards, recognizing the talent and careers of artists and cultural managers who have participated in the 11 editions of the project. The awards will also honor media outlets, individuals, and spaces committed to art made by women. The award-winning works will be created by artist Lina Ávila (Collage Repúblic).

CLAUSURA FEST

🎙📹 Clausura Fest is a sound and visual art festival that will take place on August 29 and 30 in a unique setting: the Monastery of Santa María de Villanueva de Oscos (Asturias). This project, promoted by young people from western Asturias, seeks to create an immersive experience that combines experimental electronic music, architectural heritage, and critical thinking.

💸 The festival has institutional support to cover logistics and production costs, so the fundraising campaign focuses exclusively on fairly remunerating the participating artists. The more money raised, the richer and more diverse the musical and artistic program will be.

🏡 Clausura is much more than a festival: it is a commitment to cultural innovation in rural areas, to networking between Asturian and Galician collectives, and to generating new imaginaries from living heritage. SEQUILLO SONORO 2025

🏞 The Jardín de Peña Santa Association is back with a bang to organize the third edition of Sequillo Sonoro, a free community festival to be held on August 22 and 23 in Soto and Oseja de Sajambre (León). Concerts, workshops, talks, and popular culture will come together at this event in the heart of nature, which seeks to breathe life into the villages of the Sajambre Valley.

♻️ After two successful self-managed editions, the goal now is to consolidate and expand the 2025 program. The campaign will serve to cover artist fees, production costs, and parallel activities, without losing sight of the commitment to the environment, sustainability, and the neighborhood fabric.
