El proyecto queda aplazado. Sí, me temo que has leído bien.
Ha sido difícil tomar esta decisión. Más aún cuando hace apenas unos días os informábamos de que a finales de agosto retomaríamos el proyecto. Hemos estado trabajando para retomar el proyecto, pero el panorama, nos han hecho reflexionar. Realmente ha sido difícil tomarla, pero creemos que es la mejor decisión.
Aunque podemos poner en marcha un protocolo de seguridad, no nos parece apropiado realizar el proyecto en este clima de desconcierto, miedo e inseguridad. El nuestro es un proyecto muy social, donde además de hacer los retratos, la parte de conocer a los habitantes de cada pueblo es esencial.
Así pues, son dos las razones principales que nos han hecho tomar esta decisión de aplazarlo.
Por un lado, el ambiente social. Se respira miedo y el proyecto se basa en la confianza, en las relaciones y el intercambio, por tanto, si se hiciera el proyecto no se conseguirían sus objetivos.
Y por otro lado, porque a pesar de las medidas de seguridad que podamos tomar, no podemos garantizar el no convertirnos en un foco itinerante. No podemos arriesgarnos, ni por nosotros, ni por el proyecto, y menos aún por la salud de las demás personas.
Nos vemos obligados a tomar esta decisión muy a nuestro pesar, pero creemos que es lo más responsable.
Lo que tenemos claro es que cuando la situación mejore, volveremos a retomar el proyecto con más ilusión que nunca! Creemos en el potencial de este proyecto, y seguiremos manteniéndolo vivo a fuego lento hasta que llegue el momento de lanzarlo!
El camino esta siendo complicado, pero hay que leer y entender las circunstancias de cada instante para tomar las decisiones que mejor se adaptan a cada momento.
